Also worth mentioning that it’s “written” by Brian Michael Bendis. Exactly what that means remains to be seen. Given that the DC MMO was produced in conjunction with Jim Lee, I’m guessing you probably won’t notice the Bendis impact but we’ll see.

Actually it’s a riff on a Batman and Robin image from the Morrison / Quitely run. Quitely was clearly influenced by Moebius which could explain it.
